SAP services across the whole lifecycle

MJC GlobalTech is an SAP implementation company working across the full lifecycle: SAP consulting and roadmap, S/4HANA migration services, greenfield and brownfield implementation, SAP ECC support while you plan the move, application managed services, integration, upgrades and health checks, testing, and SAP consultants placed into your own team. Delivered under a CMMI Level 3 appraised framework with ISO 27001 certified information security.

Where engagements usually start

  • S/4HANA readiness and custom-code assessment
  • Brownfield, greenfield or selective transition decision
  • RISE, GROW, on-premise or hyperscaler choice
  • SAP ECC support and stabilisation meanwhile
  • AMS takeover from an incumbent partner
  • SAP consultants into an existing programme
The deadline that is driving everything

SAP ECC 6.0 mainstream maintenance ends on 31 December 2027

Mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC 6.0 ends on 31 December 2027. Extended maintenance is available to 2030 at additional cost, and a private-edition transition option runs from 2030 to 2033 for selected customers already on HANA. Enhancement packages 0 to 5 left mainstream maintenance at the end of 2025, so estates on older EHPs are already outside it. S/4HANA on-premise, by contrast, is maintained to at least 2040.

A typical S/4HANA programme runs 12 to 24 months depending on scope, country count and how much custom code is in the way. Those are planning ranges, not commitments. Starting in mid-2026 still supports a 2027 go-live; starting in 2027 usually means buying extended maintenance and paying for it, which is a legitimate choice as long as it is a decision rather than a drift.

Not every conversation is a migration, though, and we do not treat it that way. A large share of SAP work is keeping a working ECC or S/4HANA estate running well: support tickets closed, month-end surviving, interfaces not breaking, and someone owning the release calendar. We do that work too, and we will say plainly when a migration should wait a year because the business has a bigger problem this year.

Custom code nobody ownsThousands of Z-objects, no map of what is still called, and no one willing to switch any of it off
Compatibility scope assumptionsHCM compatibility-pack usage rights have lapsed, and classic LE-WM on-premise usage rights have largely lapsed too
A roadmap with no data behind itDeployment model chosen in a slide deck before anyone ran a readiness check against the actual system
Support that only reactsTickets closed, root causes never fixed, so the same incident returns every close
What we do

SAP services, by the way buyers actually scope them

These are separate engagements with separate commercial shapes. Most clients start with one and add others; none of them requires the rest.

SAP consulting services and roadmap

A readiness assessment against your live system rather than a workshop opinion — so the migration approach, deployment model and sequence are chosen on evidence you can re-check later.

  • Readiness check, custom-code analysis and simplification-item review
  • Brownfield, greenfield or selective data transition recommendation with reasoning recorded
  • Deployment comparison: RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, on-premise or SAP on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Business case, phasing and a wave plan aligned to the 2027 date

SAP implementation services

Full-scope implementation for finance, supply chain, manufacturing and HR, configured to your processes and kept as close to standard as the business genuinely allows.

  • S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP Business One implementation
  • FICO, MM, SD, EWM, TM and GTS configuration
  • Fiori apps and role-based launchpad design
  • Clean-core extensions on SAP BTP rather than modifications in the core

SAP S/4HANA migration services

System conversion, re-implementation or selective transition, with repeated mock runs and line-by-line reconciliation before any date is promised to the business.

  • Brownfield system conversion with history retained
  • Greenfield re-implementation on standard processes
  • Selective data transition for carve-outs, mergers and consolidation
  • HANA database migration, sizing and performance tuning

SAP ECC support and stabilisation

Keeping ECC dependable and audit-clean through the remaining maintenance window, so the migration is planned from a stable base instead of a crisis.

  • Incident, problem and change management on ECC 6.0
  • Basis administration, patching and kernel upgrades
  • Month-end and year-end close support
  • Documentation and knowledge capture before people leave the estate

SAP AMS and managed services

Application managed services under agreed service levels, with a named team, an improvement backlog and a root-cause discipline rather than ticket volume as the measure of work.

  • L1 to L3 support across functional and technical streams
  • ABAP, Basis and HANA administration
  • Release, transport and regression management
  • SAP offshore support with follow-the-sun and 24/7 cover where processes require it

SAP integration services

Interfaces built once, documented, and monitored — the part of an SAP estate that most often breaks quietly and is found at month-end.

  • SAP Integration Suite and BTP integration patterns
  • IDoc, OData, REST and file-based interfaces to non-SAP systems
  • Ariba, SuccessFactors and third-party logistics connectivity
  • Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting off a governed model

SAP upgrade services and health checks

A scheduled, evidenced upgrade path and a periodic health check, so version currency and performance are managed rather than discovered.

  • S/4HANA release upgrades and feature-pack adoption
  • Enhancement package and support-pack stack planning for ECC
  • Performance, security and authorisation health checks
  • Licence advisory: measuring actual usage before a renewal conversation

SAP staffing — hire SAP consultants

Named SAP consultants into your programme when you are running it yourself and need capability, not a statement of work.

  • FICO, MM, SD, EWM, TM, ABAP, Basis and HANA profiles
  • SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll consultants
  • Onsite, offshore or hybrid engagement with rate cards agreed up front
  • Managed capacity through a dedicated global capability centre where volume justifies it

SAP testing services

Regression coverage that makes upgrades and releases routine, built during the programme instead of assembled the week before go-live.

  • Functional, integration and end-to-end test design
  • Automated regression suites for recurring release cycles
  • Data migration reconciliation and cutover rehearsal testing
  • Performance and volume testing on HANA before peak periods
Decision guide

Brownfield, greenfield or selective data transition?

ConsiderationBrownfield (system conversion)Greenfield (re-implementation)Selective data transition
Keeps transactional historyYes — the system and its history carry acrossNo — you choose opening balances and a defined history windowSelectively, by company code, entity or date range
Process changeLimited at conversion; redesign happens afterwardsMaximum — processes rebuilt on standardScoped, per entity or process area
Custom codeMust be remediated for S/4HANA; the unused can be retiredLeft behind by default; only what is justified is rebuiltRemediated for what you carry forward
SpeedUsually the fastest route for a single, reasonably clean estateLongest, because processes and data are both redesignedBetween the two, and dependent on tooling and data quality
Cost profileLower technical cost, higher remediation riskHigher change and training cost, cleaner resultHighest tooling and planning cost, most control
Best forOne ECC system, acceptable processes, deadline pressureHeavy customisation, acquisitions to absorb, processes due a resetMergers, carve-outs, multi-system consolidation, phased country waves
Watch-outA conversion can preserve problems you meant to fixHistorical reporting must be solved separatelyNeeds specialist tooling and disciplined scope control

Indicative guidance for planning, not a commitment. The recommendation comes out of a readiness check and custom-code analysis on your own system. Two more things to plan around: HCM compatibility-pack usage rights in S/4HANA have lapsed, so SAP HCM for S/4HANA or SuccessFactors is a decision in its own right; and classic LE-WM runs in S/4HANA only through compatibility scope, whose on-premise usage rights have largely lapsed, with Stock Room Management and EWM as the successors.

How we deliver

How an SAP programme runs without a surprise at cutover

Each stage ends in something you own and could hand to another supplier if you chose to.

01

Assess

Readiness check, custom-code analysis, integration inventory and licence position on your live system, with a written migration-approach recommendation.

02

Design

Target process design, deployment model, extension strategy on BTP, data migration approach and a wave plan with dependencies named.

03

Build and migrate

Configuration, extensions, interfaces and repeated mock data loads reconciled line by line, with the regression suite built as the build proceeds.

04

Test and rehearse

Integration and end-to-end testing, performance testing on HANA, then a full cutover rehearsal against the real calendar.

05

Go live and run

Cutover scheduled around the financial close, hypercare on the floor and in finance, then transition into AMS with an improvement backlog reviewed monthly.

Questions we get

SAP services, answered

When does SAP ECC support end?
Mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC 6.0 ends on 31 December 2027. Extended maintenance is available until 2030 at additional cost, and a private-edition transition option runs from 2030 to 2033 for selected customers already running on HANA. Enhancement packages 0 to 5 left mainstream maintenance at the end of 2025. S/4HANA on-premise is maintained to at least 2040, so the destination is not itself on a short clock.
How long does an SAP S/4HANA migration take?
A typical programme runs 12 to 24 months, driven more by country count, custom code volume and data quality than by the platform. Treat that as a planning range rather than a commitment. Starting in mid-2026 still supports a 2027 go-live. Starting during 2027 usually means budgeting for extended maintenance, which is a reasonable choice if it is decided deliberately.
Should we choose brownfield or greenfield for S/4HANA?
Brownfield conversion is usually fastest and keeps transactional history, which suits a single reasonably clean ECC system under deadline pressure. Greenfield re-implementation suits heavily customised estates and organisations that want processes reset on standard. Selective data transition sits between them and is the normal answer for mergers, carve-outs and multi-system consolidation. We recommend after a readiness check and custom-code analysis, not before.
Do you support SAP ECC as well as S/4HANA?
Yes. A large part of our SAP work is keeping ECC dependable through the remaining maintenance window: incident and change management, Basis administration and patching, close support, and documenting an estate whose original team has often moved on. Stabilising ECC first usually makes the eventual migration cheaper, because the target design is then based on how the business really runs.
What does SAP AMS cover, and can you take over from another supplier?
SAP application managed services cover L1 to L3 support across functional and technical streams, ABAP, Basis and HANA administration, release and transport management, and regression testing, under agreed service levels with 24/7 cover where processes require it. We do take over from an incumbent, starting with a knowledge-transfer and documentation phase so the handover does not depend on goodwill.
Can we hire SAP consultants without a full implementation contract?
Yes. We place named SAP consultants — FICO, MM, SD, EWM, TM, ABAP, Basis, HANA, SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll — into programmes you are running yourself, onsite, offshore or hybrid, with rate cards agreed before anyone mobilises. Where volume justifies it, the same capacity can be run as a dedicated global capability centre instead of individual placements.
Which deployment model should we use: RISE, GROW, on-premise or a hyperscaler?
RISE with SAP is the private-cloud route and suits estates that need their own configuration and extensions. GROW with SAP is the public-cloud route for organisations willing to adopt standard processes quickly. On-premise remains valid where data residency, latency or plant integration demand it, and SAP on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud suits groups already standardised on one hyperscaler. The right answer depends on your integration and compliance constraints, not on a preference.
Are you an SAP partner?
We are an SAP services company: we implement, migrate, support and staff SAP estates, and our consultants work across S/4HANA, ECC, Business One, SuccessFactors, Ariba, BTP and the HANA database. Our own verifiable credentials are CMMI Level 3 appraisal and ISO 27001 certification, which is what governs how we run delivery and handle your data. If a formal partner-programme status matters to your procurement process, ask us directly and we will answer it in writing.
